1. Choose a tessellation pattern (there are lots of patterns to chose from).
2. How about choosing fabric from one color family? When was the last time you made a monochromatic quilt? It’s a great exercise for a value study!
3. An excellent alternative would be to choose two complementary colors instead (green/red, blue/orange, or purple/yellow). You could even make this into an opportunity to get going on a Christmas quilt.
